Europe’s leading first-crop sire Cotai Glory reached the impressive milestone of 35 winners on Thursday when Myriad made all to take the nursery.
Bounced out by George Rooke, Myriad was never headed to hold off Delphinus and win well by over two lengths.
The Richard Hughes-trained colt is a graduate of Tally-Ho Stud, having passed through our breeze- up arm, and carries the colours of John Henwood and partner. He was bred by Con Marnane out of Superabundance, a Zoffany half-sister to Group 3 winner Onenightidreamed. Richard Hughes and Ted Durcan signed at £32,000 for Myriad out of our Goresbridge draft.
Europe’s leading first-crop sire by winners and prize-money, Cotai Glory’s 35 winners include the top-class Atomic Force, the runaway winner of the G2 Prix Robert Papin, Listed scorer Purciaretta and Coventry Stakes runner-up Eldrickjones among no fewer than eight black-type performers.
Cotai Glory stands for €8,500.
