Kodiac hit the headlines at Arqana in Deauville on Saturday thanks to a well-related daughter who sold for €430,000 to Robson Aguiar.
Offered by Haras d'Etreham, the filly is out of the Pivotal mare Vicugna, a half-sister to Group 3 winner Sofast.
"I think she’s going to be a nice racehorse," said Robson Aguiar. "I’ve worked with a lot of Kodiacs and she looks like the good ones. We try and buy a good horse. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t, but at the moment it’s working."
