Mehmas continues to fire on all cylinders with strong representation within both the three and two-year-old divisions.
On Saturday, he fired in another impressive two-year-old winner in the form of Melayu Kingdom, who justified favouritism to make a winning debut for Kevin Ryan at Thirsk.
Owned by Michael Reilly, the colt was bred in Ireland by Blackberry Stud Ltd out of the Bushranger mare Lauren's Girl, also the dam of the Group 1-winning Tally-Ho graduate La Pelosa.
"He's always done everything nice, we haven't done much with him so I expect him to improve a lot for the run," trainer Kevin Ryan said.
Mehmas, whose stud record is led by seven first-crop stakes winners, stands for €25,000.
