Classy Inns Of Court filly Tropical Island added further to her resume on Sunday when the impressive winner of the 6f nursery at York.
The Richard Fahey-trained filly was narrowly beaten in the Hornblower last time out and ran on well from off the pace under William Buick to win comfortably from Batal Zabeel. She was a pricey breezer, having been bought by Blandford Bloodstock on behalf of Sheikh Rashid Dalmook Al Maktoum for £135,000 at the Goffs UK Breeze-Up Sale.
Bred by Richard Tucker, Tropical Island is out of Kodi Da Capo, a 2yo winner by our very own Kodiac.
She joins multiple winners Lia Fail, Eminny and Baileys Polka Dot, as well as the stakes-placed Gaenari, as quality performers from the first crop of Inns Of Court.
