The Cotai Glory bandwagon rolled on during Thursday’s action as his winning daughters Devious Angel and Sophie’s Star dominated the outcome to the 5f fillies novice at Haydock Park.
Tally-Ho-bred Devious Angel, who had won at Southwell prior to running second in the Lily Agnes Stakes at Chester for Tom Dascombe, came out on top in authoritative style over Thirsk scorer Sophie’s Star, who in turn was four lengths clear of the third.
Devious Angel becomes the second multiple scorer for Cotai Glory after Dig Two, currently a Royal Ascot hopeful for Hugo Palmer. Other promising types by the stallion include Newmarket scorer Forca Brasil, last week’s impressive debut winner Kingboard Star and Coventry Stakes entry Eldrickjones.
Devious Angel was bred by Tally-Ho out of the Listed-placed Angel Meadow, by Mayson. She was purchased by SackvilleDonald out of our draft at the Tattersalls Ireland September Sale and races for Roudee Racing.
