Cotai Glory four-year-old Redstone Well made quite the statement in Australia on Saturday when running away with the Listed CTC Cup.
Useful in Ireland when trained by Daniel O'Sullivan to win three races, the gelding was imported into Australia last year by Highclere Thoroughbred Racing and placed under the care of Annabel Neasham.
On Saturday, Redstone Well was always on the front end and quickened clear for an emphatic score.
“He is a pretty exciting horse and we're just taking him slowly, going through his grades,” Annabel Neasham told Racing & Sports. “We can maybe look towards The Metropolitan or something like that.”
Redstone Well was bred by Richard Ahern out of the Papal Bull mare Pingin Rua, a half-sister to German Group 3 winner Papagena Star.
