The first foal by top 2yo Persian Force to pass through a sale ring hit the headlines on Thursday when sold for a sale-topping €50,000.
The colt, offered by Kildallan Farm, is out of the winning Canford Cliffs mare Ray Of Light and was purchased by Nigel O'Hare.
"He will go to County Armagh and he will run alongside another colt," said Nigel O'Hare. "He has a lovely walk, he is strong boned, he has come well recommended and has a bit of size about him. We generally like to race all our horses and it is difficult to buy them as yearlings."
Persian Force was a top 2yo in the mould of his record-breaking sire Mehmas, winning the Group 2 July Stakes and running placed in the Group 1 Middle Park Stakes, Phoenix Stakes, Prix Mory and Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf.
Persian Force will stand for €8,000 in 2025.
