The win of Kapparis Kid at Chelmsford City on Monday evening continued a good spell for Inns Of Court following the earlier success of Super Matteo at Naples.
Making his fourth start, the John Ryan-trained Kapparis Kid made striking progress from the rear of the field to win comfortably by over a length.
Bred by the La Roumegue Partnership, Kapparis Kid was part of our draft the Book 2 of the Tattersalls October Sale when sold to former trainer Amy Murphy. He is a half-brother to several winners and out of La Roumegue, a placed daughter of Henrythenavigator.
Super Matteo was also sold by us, in his case as a breezer at this year's Tattersalls Ireland Goresbridge Sale. He was bred by us out of Good Clodora, also the dam of Ardad, and is trained by Affe' Agostino on behalf of Roberto Prola.
Now the sire of 28 winners, Inns Of Court stands for €5,000. His first crop is full of quality, containing stakes performers such as Megarry, Lia Fail, Vicuna and Gaenari.
