Group 3 success for Tally-Ho breezer Lezoo

Tally-Ho breezer Lezoo, sold by us at the Arqana May Breeze-Up Sale to Atlas Bloodstock, landed her second stakes race within a month on Saturday with an impressive success in the Group 3 Princess Margaret Stakes at Ascot.

Making her third quick appearance in stakes company for Ralph Beckett, Lezoo always looked to be in control, travelling smoothly under Frankie Dettori before putting the race to bed in a matter of strides.

"She's very tough and we know she gets the 6f very well," Frankie Dettori told Sky Sports Racing. "We probably did kick a bit too soon but I knew she had the legs to get to the line. She's got bags of speed."

Lezoo is now the winner of three of four starts, with her sole defeat coming when a narrow second in the Duchess Of Cambridge Stakes at Newmarket.

Lezoo was bred by Chasemore Farm out of Group 3 winner Roger Sez - fittingly a daughter of our former stallion Red Clubs - and was bought by us through Hamish Macauley for 77,000gns out of Book 3 of the Tattersalls October Sale. She was resold through our Arqana May draft for €110,000 to Atlas Bloodstock and races for Marc Chan and Andrew Rosen.

She becomes the latest successful Tally-Ho breezer of the past year. following the likes of Perfect Power, Twilight Jet, Maglev, Spanish Mission and Spycatcher.
