Ho-bred Uncs becomes latest winner for Galileo Gold; Cotai Glory colt runs 2nd in Coventry Stakes

Uncs made an excellent winning debut at Beverley on Tuesday for the successful combination of George Boughey and Amo Racing to become the latest winner for his promising young sire Galileo Gold.

As the Racing Post highlighted: “Coming from off the pace, Uncs showed a good turn of foot to quicken clear in the final furlong to score without being extended. He should go on from here.”

At the line, Uncs had nearly five lengths to spare over the runner-up.

Uncs is another winner bred by Tally-Ho Stud and was purchased by Aguiar Bloodstock out of our draft at last year’s Tattersalls Ireland September Sale. He is a half-brother to five winners, including the Listed-placed Lexington Grace, and out of the Silver Charm mare Bronze Baby.

Galileo Gold’s first crop also includes Listed National Stakes scorer Ebro River, who wasn’t disgraced when fifth in Tuesday’s Coventry Stakes. Running a fantastic race in second was Cotai Glory’s son Eldrickjones.
