Excellent Truth capped a memorable week for Cotai Glory with a deserved stakes win in the Group 3 Prix Psyche at Deauville on Sunday.
The Mauricio Delcher Sanchez-trained filly quickened smartly in the hands of Christophe Soumillon to account for Left Hand by three-quarters of a length and land her third race of the season.
"I hope she can be a Group 1 filly," said the trainer. "We'll give her a break and then look at the Prix de l'Opera."
The second stakes winner this week for Cotai Glory after two-year-old Tiger Belle, successful in the Listed Marwell Stakes at Naas, Excellent Truth was bred by Sandra Russell out of Moment Of Truth, a half-sister to Group 1 winner Zafisio. She was sold by us as a Goffs Orby yearling by us to Montgomery Motto.
