Inns Of Court's run of first-crop success continued in style on Sunday as Megarry ran out the impressive winner of a competitive maiden at the Curragh.
Previously placed for Gavin Cromwell, the colt was always prominent under Gary Carroll and once set alight by his jockey, quickened clear for an authoritative success.
"I think I got it wrong with him a few times and he should have won his maiden by now," said Gavin Cromwell. "He has experience and Garry sent him on as we know he stays further. He'll go on any ground and he's learning."
Megarry was bred by the Highest Praise Syndicate out of the Acclamation mare Highest Praise, whose earlier foals include the winning Cotai Glory siblings Adeb and Gypsy Woman.
Their victories bring the number of winners out of Inns Of Court's first crop to 17. They are headed by the stakes-placed Gaenari and include multiple scorers Baileys Polka Dot, Eminny, Lia Fail and Gray's Inn.
