Inns Of Court got off the mark in impressive style on Saturday courtesy of the Tally-Ho-bred filly Ziggy's Dream, who defeated colts to make a winning debut over 5f at Doncaster.
Trained by Alice Haynes on behalf of Middleham Park Racing, Ziggy's Dream made virtually all to fend off the various challenges and win going away by a length-and-three-quarters.
The filly was bred by us out of Shifting, also dam of the Listed-placed Kodiac filly No More Regrets, and sold through our draft at last year's Goffs UK Premier Sale to Aguiar Bloodstock.
Inns Of Court gets off the mark having made a fine impression at the recent breeze-up sales, where his first crop have sold for 165,000gns (colt out of Kingdomforthebride to Avenue Bloodstock and Joseph O'Brien), £135,000 (filly out of Kodi Da Capo to Blandford Bloodstock) and 115,000gns (colt out of Dover Vision to Michael O'Callaghan).
A son of noted sire of sires Invincible Spirit, Inns Of Court was top-class, tough and versatile, winning seven races ranging from the Group 2 Prix du Gros-Chene over 5f to the Group 3 Prix de la Porte Maillot over 7f. He was also a short head second in the Group 1 Prix Jacques les Marois over a mile.
Inns Of Court stands for €5,000.
