Cotai Glory added yet another winner to his burgeoning record on Thursday with the impressive success of Mot And The Messer over 6f at Ripon.
The Tom Dascombe-trained colt had shaped encouragingly on his debut and made no mistake this time, quickening clear for a near six-length score.
The Racing Post was impressed, saying: "Mot And The Messer ran a promising race on his debut and found plenty of improvement to win this by a comfortable margin. He was strongly supported, and presumably was happier on the quicker ground. He's a son of Cotai Glory, who is doing so well with his first crop, while Tom Dascombe is having a successful run with his juveniles."
The colt was bred by R Patterson out of Sommorell, a daughter of Fast Company whose previous foals include Listed winner Inverleigh and the Group 3-placed Setarhe.
Cotai Glory boasts 11 winners to date, among them two colts who ran mighty races at Royal Ascot - Eldrickjones and Dig Two, who ran second in the Group 2 Coventry Stakes and Listed Windsor Castle Stakes respectively.
Like Dig Two, Mot And The Messer was a yearling purchase by SackvilleDonald.
