Galileo Gold looks to have another smart 2yo within his armoury in the Tally-Ho bred Hellomydarlin, who made a striking winning debut at Goodwood for George Boughey on Friday evening.
Although making her first start, Hellomydarlin showed a professional attitude to sit close to the pace in the 6f event and then rally when challenged by the second Zain Claudette. The pair pulled well clear of the third.
Like Galileo Gold’s stakes-winning son Ebro River, Hellomydarlin was bred at Tally-Ho Stud. She also carries the same Nick Bradley colours as Galileo Gold’s Woodcote Stakes-winning daughter Oscula.
Hellomydarlin is the first foal out of Speed Freak, a Fastnet Rock daughter of the Listed-placed The Thrill Is Gone. Further back, it is the fast family of Bungle Inthejungle.
Classic winner Galileo Gold is set to be represented at Royal Ascot next week by Ebro River, who holds entries in the Coventry and Norfolk Stakes.
