Cotai Glory hit the impressive landmark of 20 first-crop winners on Saturday when Tropez Power won the 6f novice at Newbury.
And later in the afternoon there was further successful for Cotai Glory when the Tally-Ho-bred Hollow Steel broke her maiden at Ripon.
The Richard Hannon-trained colt fell a neck short of the first-past-the-post Home City but given that rival had carried him across the course, he was awarded the race. The pair pulled well clear of the third.
Bought for 125,000gns by SackvilleDonald on behalf of King Power Racing as a Tattersalls October Book 2 yearling, Tropez Power is a half-brother to the Listed-placed Danielsflyer and out of Warm Welcome, a Motivator granddaughter of the mighty mare All Along. He was bred in Ireland by Michael McGlynn.
Cotai Glory's 21 winners includes an array of exciting prospects, including the runaway Group 3 Prix du Bois hero Atomic Force, the stakes-placed Dig Two and Eldrickjones and triple scorer Devious Angel.
