Best of luck to everyone who bought and supported us at the Goffs Orby Sale. Each of our 14 yearlings found new homes and we look forward to seeing them on the track!
A good sale for Mehmas featured 13 six-figure lots and purchases made by the likes of the Hong Kong Jockey Club, Sumbe, Yulong, Gaelic Bloodstock, Newtown Anner Stud and Avenue Bloodstock.
The Hong Kong Jockey Club went to €450,000 for the Mehmas colt out of Hot Sauce. A €130,000 pinhook by Jamie Railton, he's out of a Listed-placed placed to top sprinter Prohibit.
Yulong paid €260,000 for the Mehmas colt out of Taawfan from Pier House Stud while Sumbe went to the same figure for the Mehmas filly out of the high-class Bocca Baciata from Baroda Stud.

It was great to see the market continue to react positively to the first crop by Starman. Leading the way was Lynn Lodge Stud's homebred colt out of Chatham Islands, a half-brother to the Group 3-winning miler Balty Boys who sold for €100,000 to SackvilleDonald.
Highflyer Bloodstock also paid €90,000 for the filly out of Big Boned from The Castlebridge Consignment.

His week included two six-figure lots; a €150,000 filly out of Clearwing sold by Yeomanstown Stud to Ben McElroy for Stonestreet Stables and a €105,000 filly out of Pivotal Era sold by Acorn Stud to Jason Kelly.
