Many thanks to everyone who supported us at this week’s Tattersalls Ireland September Sale.
We were delighted to end the sale as leading vendor, with 19 yearlings sold topped by a son of Mehmas out of Drifting Spirit who made £105,000 to JS Bloodstock and George Scott.
Federico Barberini also went to £68,000 for our Kodiac colt out of Get Up And Dance while Peter and Ross Doyle paid £60,000 for our Galileo Gold filly out of Sketching.
A good sale for our first-crop sire Kessaar also included the sale of a £50,000 colt out of Miss Purity Pinker. He was also secured by Peter and Ross Doyle.
Purchasers of Kessaar’s stock also included top trainer Andrew Balding (bought two) and Kevin Ross Bloodstock.
Overall, eight of Kessaar’s first-crop sold for an average of £29,375.
It was also a strong sale for Galileo Gold, who returned an average of £40,000 for four sold.
