New debut winner for Cotai Glory

Cotai Glory was to the fore again on Wednesday, this time as the sire of easy debut winner Uchchaihshravas.

The filly, bred in Ireland by Denis Phelan, scored easily at Bro Park in Sweden for trainer Kahlil de Burca to become the 10th individual winner for Cotai Glory.

Uchchaihshravas is a half-sister to two winners and out of Clincher, a Royal Applause half-sister to Listed winner Intense Pink and the Group-placed two-year-olds Henrik and Sir Reginald. She was purchased by Stefan Uppstrom out of last year's Goffs Autumn Sale.

A top sprinter himself, Cotai Glory has made a fast start to his stud career as the sire of 10 winners. In addition to Uchchaihshravas, they include the highly regarded debut winners Forca Brasil and Kingboard Star in addition to the dual scorer Dig Two.

Cotai Glory stands for €5,000.
