We were delighted to see Starman so well received again at Book 1 of the Tattersalls October Sale.
Each of his eight yearlings through the ring were sold, four of them for 200,000gns or more.
They were led by our colt out of Moment Of Truth, a half-brother to the high-class Cotai Glory filly Excellent Truth who made 260,000gns to Al Shaqab Racing and Amo Racing.
Charlie Gordon-Watson signed at 240,000gns for our half-sister to Emily Upjohn out of Hidden Brief while Todd Investments went to the same figure for our filly out of Johara.
George Boughey will also train Redpender Stud's colt out of Leala's Daughter, dam of the trainer's high-class filly Soprano. He cost 200,000gns.
Overall, Starman returned an average of 175,625gns - a massive return on his fee!
