Best to luck to everyone who bought off us at the Tattersalls Craven Sale in Newmarket this week.
It was an excellent sale for Starman as the sire of 2yos who made 360,000gns and 260,000gns; Richard Brown of Blandford Bloodstock bought our 360,000gns colt out of Spring Green while Anthony Bromley and Phil Cunningham came away with our 260,000gns filly out of Beignet.
"Starman has made a great start," said Brown. "I’ve had very little to do with them so far but watching his first runners, you’d have to be impressed because yes, while it’s still very early and there’s still plenty of water to go under the bridge, it looks to me like they’ve got a bit of class.
“Obviously we’ve also had a lot of success buying off Tally-Ho and we’ve gone back to the source.”
Meanwhile, a good sale for Mehmas was led by the 500,000gns sale of our colt out of Navette to Dullingham. Mehmas ended the sale with an average of 181,667gns.
We were also delighted to sell our Sioux Nation colt to Blandford Bloodstock and Joseph O'Brien for 200,000gns. Michael O'Callaghan, Amo Racing, Ted Durcan and George Baker were others to buy out of our draft - we wish everyone the best of luck and look forward to seeing them on the track!
