Talented Inns Of Court filly Baileys Polka Dot continued her upward trajectory on Tuesday when landing the Prix des Arcades, a competitive conditions race at Dieppe.
The Amy Murphy-trained filly had to show all her battling qualities to overhaul the leader Antifona and win cosily in the colours of G R Bailey. It was her second win in as many starts following her easy debut success at Dieppe in June.
She becomes the ninth winner out of Jolie Et Belle, an Oratorio half-sister to Listed scorer Golden Honor.
Her win is an appropriate one given Inns Of Court's own French racing career, which spanned four seasons for Godolphin and Andre Fabre and featured seven wins ranging from the Group 2 Prix du Gros-Chene over 5f to the Group 3 Prix de la Porte Maillot over 7f.
The son of Invincible Spirit stands for €5,000.
