Tally-Ho bred Korisa took the step up to Group company in her stride on Sunday when the impressive winner of the Group 3 Premio Primi Passi at San Siro. In the process she became the 45th Group/Graded stakes winner for Kodiac.
Previously successful in the Listed Premio Alessandro Perrone at Capannelle, Scuderia Semeso's filly strolled home five lengths clear of Selfish.
Winning jockey Dario Vargiu said: “I rode her as patiently as she liked, as per my instructions. I was pretty sure that I’d win after 600m, as she had plenty of gas and, when I asked her to run, she really quickened”.
Korisa was bred by us out of River Sands, a Kingman daughter of Group 2 winner The Miniver Rose. She was sold by us to Marco Bozzi at last year's Goffs UK Premier Sale in Doncaster.
