Tough Cotai Glory filly Excellent Truth added further to her stakes record on Sunday when the easy winner of the Listed Prix Goldikova at Longchamp.
Last year's Group 3 Prix de Pysche winner made most under Christophe Soumillon and always had enough in hand to repel the second Secretive for an easy win.
"She performed very honorably in the Opera," said Maurcio Delcher Sancher. "We gave her a good break this winter and her comeback was very good. Today, we wanted to find out more for the rest of her programme and that is why Christophe set her up in an offensive way, so as not to risk being trapped. She is entered in the Rothschild and the Jean Romanet: she will run one of the two races..."
Excellent Truth has now won four races for trainer Maurcio Delcher Sancher and owner Montgomery Motto, who bought the filly from our draft at the Goffs Orby Sale. A half-sister to the Group-placed Mehmas 2yo Memo de L'Aguer, she was bred by Sandra Russell out of Moment Of Truth, a Teofilo half-sister to Group 1 winner Zafisio.
Cotai Glory, the sire of 25 stakes performers overall, stands for €12,500.
