Kessaar fired in yet another winner on Sunday as Yacowlef landed a deserved win at Goodwood.
Rated 83 off the back of several useful efforts, the Paul and Oliver Cole-trained colt was always travelling well in a prominent position and quickened clear once asked by Tom Marquand for an emphatic 2 1/4 length score.
Yacowlef was bred by Denis McDonnell out of Turkana Girl, a Hernando half-sister to Group 2 winner Leo. The mare has already bred a smart one in the Prix Robert Papin winner Irish Field.
